Time until the start – April 18, 2026

Registration for all Võhandu Marathon events is handled through one user account.

After logging in, you can choose between different marathon events (Open Course – 11 April 2026 or Main Marathon Distance – 18 April 2026).

NB! Creating an account is not yet registration.
Only one crew member creates the account. This person enters the boat details and adds all crew members, including themselves, one by one.

All changes related to the team and ordered equipment can be made by the account owner after logging in. The account owner can also view and manage invoices and payments.

START GROUP SELECTION

Start groups apply only to kayak and canoe classes.

NB! All participants who have a justified reason to apply for the ELITE or SUPER start group
must complete the start group questionnaire.

Only a correctly completed questionnaire provides the basis for issuing the appropriate start group sticker for the race number.

Without a valid sticker, access to the ELITE or SUPER start area is not permitted,
regardless of previous results, achievements, or agreements.

For participants in the MARATHON start group, completing the questionnaire is recommended but not mandatory.

The 21st Võhandu Marathon will start at three different times.

⚠️ Previous start times have been changed.
All participants must carefully check the start time for their boat type.

Registration for the main marathon race opens on January 1 at 00:00:01 (Estonian time).

A maximum of 1,500 teams will be allowed to start.
Note: The RAFT class has a separate limit of up to 150 teams.

Registration closes as soon as one of the following conditions is met:

  • March 31 (after this date, registration is not possible under any circumstances), or

  • 1,500 teams have registered, or

  • 3,200 participants have registered.

If you want to experience untouched nature and spend one powerful athletic day on the river, this marathon is for you.

Remember: “You can do more than you think.”
Every kilometer you later recall on the sauna deck is pure pleasure. You’ll want it again and again — it won’t let you rest until you see your name on the start list. 🙂
